It’s back to campus for West Liberty University students who move into campus housing in just a few days. Move-in takes place this weekend in a staggered fashion.

Students also will find new dining options as Aladdin Campus Dining as the new food service provider for 2022 – 2023. Several new quick service restaurants, Chilaca (Mexican) and WeBurg (classic American burgers) are two of the notable additions that Aladdin is unveiling.

Also, the dining hall or cafeteria was renamed the Bear’s Den and now reflects an updated décor and new service options.

The student wellness center, found in the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex, has also received updates including paint and wall treatments.

WLU students begin the move-in process this Friday, Aug. 19 as new and transfer students begin to transition into their dorms and apartments. Returning students move-in on Saturday and Sunday.

Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 22. Last day to enroll or add classes is Aug. 31. The Housing and Residence Life Office assists students and their families in their move-in action.

Student Life staff coordinates Topperfest activities, a group of entertaining events designed to welcome students to West Liberty University and help them to get comfortable with campus that takes place from Aug. 19 – Sept. 1.
