‘Glue Like’ Stink ‘Normal’ During Pipe Lining Work in South Wheeling

-

Insight Pipe will be lining the sewer under 37th Street from Chapline Street to Wood Street beginning Wednesday, June 7. One lane of traffic will be maintained by the company during the project. Drivers should plan accordingly.

Residents in the vicinity may detect a “glue like” odor during the pipe lining. It is harmless. To prevent the rare chance of the odor in your home, pour a half gallon of water in all plumbing fixtures and drains to fill the P-trap prior to the start of the project, which is expected to conclude on June 19.
