WLU’s Gary E. West College of Business Hosts Young Executives Summit

-

West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business will host the second annual Young Executives Summit on Wednesday, November 1 at Noon as a part of the David E. Wright Executive Seminar Series.  The summit will take place in College Hall and a light luncheon will follow.

The mission of the summit is to engage students at the College of Business by furthering their knowledge and providing real-life insight into the business world from recent graduates.

“I am really excited that we get to do this for the second time this year. It is a great opportunity for students to get engaged and talk to the speakers since this gives them some ideas as to where they could pursue a career and they can picture themselves in those positions,” emphasized Ingrid Loy, Instructor of Marketing.

The summit includes a panel of four key speakers:

–          Alex Panas: Program Manager at Wheeling Heritage

–          Chase Harler: Business Development Manager for Country Roads Trust

–          Brian Campbell: Advanced Wound Territory at 3M Medical Solutions

–          Alicia Jordan: Marketing Director for Belmont Savings Bank

Additional guests include Michael Taylor and Courtney Smith from Belmont Savings Bank.

All panelists are graduates from local higher education institutions.  Campbell is an alumnus of West Liberty University, Harler received his master’s from WVU, Panas graduated from Ohio University and Ball State University, and Jordan achieved her bachelor’s from Bethany College.
