Trinity Health System Celebrating Local High School Student

-

Trinity Health System would like to honor Brooke High School senior Evan Urso, who completed his senior honors project by collecting donations for care packets for patients at Teramana Cancer Center.

After talking with Patient Advocate Marsha Lewis, Evan created an Amazon donation wish list of items that offers entertainment, comfort, and health benefits to support patients during their time of need. He was able to create 200-plus care packets. These packets are a way to show support during the patient’s time of need. When they reach for the items, they will be reminded they are not fighting alone.

He also raised funds through a Brooke T-shirt fundraiser, “No Bruin Fights Alone”.

Evan would like to thank Teramana Cancer Center employees for their help with his project. Their support, along with his family, friends, and community, helped make this project a success.
