“Christmas in the Grove is all about bringing our community together to celebrate the season’s joy,” said Kristy Ferguson. “We’re excited to share these holiday moments with everyone in Wheeling and make this season a memorable one for all.”

This event like all of the events we bring to the community is a collaborative effort.

“We would like to thank the Osiris Shriner’s for being gracious hosts, The City of Wheeling and Savage Crain Services for their help in getting the tree in place and decorated. We would also like to thank you area businesses for all of their support throughout the year.”

This year, in addition to Christmas in the Grove, we have added a full day of fun with a community-wide scavenger hunt for Small Business Saturday which will surely enhance the holiday spirit and encourage people to support local businesses.

The scavenger hunt is a perfect way to enjoy the day with family and friends. There will be a link to download the app on our Facebook page facebook.com/ElmGroveWvBusinessAssociation for those none technology loving people we will have a paper form of the hunt located at the Kruger Steet Toy Museum

Themed Clues: themed clues will lead participants to various businesses. This is a great opportunity for the public to learn all about the large variety of businesses that call Elm Grove home.

Photo Challenges:  We encourage participants to take festive photos at each stop, perhaps with holiday decorations or while interacting with business owners.

Community Engagement: Each correct answer will include elements that encourage participants to share their experiences on social media, using a specific hashtag, Like and shares or maybe even sharing the favorite childhood memories related to the event.
