West Liberty University Launches New Office of Transfer, Online, and Lifelong Learning

-

West Liberty University (WLU) is excited to announce the creation of its new Office of Transfer, Online, and Lifelong Learning, dedicated to supporting online, transfer, adult, and readmitted students in their academic journeys. This initiative reflects WLU’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational accessibility and success for all students.

The new office will be led by Stephanie North, who brings significant experience from her role as Registrar and previously as the Transfer Coordinator in the Admissions Offices. North’s leadership will be instrumental in achieving the office’s mission to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for all students.

The Office of Transfer, Online, and Lifelong Learning is dedicated to fostering seamless transitions into the university, academic success, and career readiness. It will focus on streamlining the transfer process for undergraduate students, enhancing partnerships with local colleges, and increasing online enrollment opportunities and support. The office also aims to support dual-enrolled students in their transition to full-time enrollment while expanding micro-credentialing programs to help students build skills for career advancement.

Under North’s leadership, the office is committed to working directly with students to understand their unique needs and provide personalized support throughout their educational journey.

“I look forward to working closely with our transfer, online, and lifelong learners to help them navigate the opportunities at West Liberty University and achieve their academic and professional goals,” said Stephanie North.

West Liberty University remains dedicated to offering services and programs that meet the evolving needs of students, creating opportunities for success from enrollment through graduation and beyond.
