WVDOH Road Work Scheduled for Ohio County

Ohio County, WV – A portion of US 40, near Opperman Drive, in Triadelphia, will be restricted to one lane, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Monday, June 9, 2025, for a new water line. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary signal light. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect slight delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule.

Plus, County Route 7, GC&P Road, in Valley Grove, will be closed at milepost 3.82, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, June 9, 2025, through Friday, June 13, 2025, for culvert replacement. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated.

Alternate Routes: County Route 1 (Short Creek), County Route 3 (Cherry Hill Road) or County Route 5 (Table Rock Road).

And, a portion of County Route 15 (Warden Run Road), from milepost 2.86 to milepost 2.89, will be closed, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning on Thursday, June 12, 2025, through mid-July 2025, for a slip repair. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

Alternate Routes: Use County Route 25 (Peter Run Road) or WV 88 (Oglebay Drive) Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
