Wheeling’s Springdale Avenue Closed April 1-2 for Electric Pole Replacement

Ohio County, WV – A portion of County Route 40/2, Springdale Avenue, in Wheeling, will be closed, between 522 Springdale Avenue and 506 Springdale Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and Thursday, April 2, 2026, for a new service installation and an electric pole replacement. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

Alternate Route: Use County Route 15/1 (Park View Road).

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
