Roadway Projects in Ohio County to Alter Traffic this Week

Ohio County, WV– A portion of County Route 9 (North Fork Road), in Wheeling, will be restricted to one lane, from milepost 0.00 to milepost 2.45, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, through Thursday, June 4, 2026, for road maintenance. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

ALSO:

A portion of County Route 1 (Short Creek Road), will be restricted to one lane, from milepost 2.17 to milepost 4.67, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026, through Thursday, June 4, 2026, for road maintenance. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.
