  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – R&B Brunch at the Wheeling Artisan Center, A Southern-style brunch featuring games, trivia, and music by DJ Kaz.
  • 1:30 p.m. – New Interpretive Sign Dedication on Chapline Street, located at the corner of Lane 7 near 1025 Chapline Street.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Tour of the Pythian Building, 1025 Chapline Street.

Saturday, June 20 – Main Street to Mountains: A Wheeling Portrait Plein Air Art Experience –  Webpage: CLICK HERE, Press Release: CLICK HERE

We encourage both the media and the public to come out and experience artists painting live throughout Wheeling. Participating locations include Heritage Port, Centre Market, Oglebay, the Suspension Bridge, Mount Wood Overlook, and other scenic sites throughout the city. Artists may begin painting as early as 7:00 a.m. and will be working throughout the day. The completed artwork will be featured in an exhibition at the Wheeling Artisan Center Gallery from July 2 through August 31.
