WHEELING, W.Va. (June xx, 2026) – Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is excited to announce its third annual Independence Day Fun Festival on Friday, July 3, from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The event will be held in the festival area of the property’s parking lot and will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, carnival rides and games, live racing, giveaways, food trucks, vendors, and fireworks.
This year’s festival is part of Wheeling Island’s 2026 festival season and continues to grow with expanded food truck and vendor participation, sponsor activations, Truck Bucks offers, casino promotions, and entertainment for guests of all ages.

- 3 p.m. – Company Caravan: Start the festival with high-energy live music and crowd favorites.
- 5:30 p.m. – Marks Bros. Band: Keep the celebration going with a lively regional performance.
- 8 p.m. – Casanova & The Divas: Close out the evening with an exciting show leading into the fireworks finale.
- Live Racing: Guests can enjoy the excitement of live greyhound racing during the festival.
- Food Trucks and Vendors: Festival-goers can enjoy a wide variety of local food trucks and vendors throughout the event, including festival favorites, specialty foods, sweets, crafts and more.
- Truck Bucks and Casino Offers: Guests can take advantage of Truck Bucks and special casino promotions, including Free Play, Match Play, point-earning opportunities and festival giveaways.
- Souvenir Cups and Beer Garden: Guests 21 and older can enjoy festival drink specials, including 16-ounce souvenir collectible cups available for purchase.
- Exciting Giveaways and Prizes: Wheeling Island will host giveaways and promotional offers throughout the event, including Fedora Hats, T-shirts and other prizes while supplies last.
- Family Activities for All Ages: Carnival rides, games, inflatables, face painting, caricatures and other activities will provide fun for the whole family.
- Fireworks Extravaganza: Experience a breathtaking fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day in style.
