WHEELING, W.Va. — Grab a lawn chair or blanket and head to Heritage Port for a fun-filled evening as the City of Wheeling presents a free showing of Disney’s Zootopia 2 on Friday, July 10.
The movie will begin at dusk, but the fun starts well before the opening credits. From 7:30 to 9 p.m., Oglebay’s Good Zoo will be on site with several animal ambassadors, giving attendees the opportunity to interact with and learn about a variety of animals.
Additional family-friendly activities will include face painting, balloon art and an animal-related activity with Robert & Libby Strong of the Smart Centre. Food trucks will be on site so attendees can purchase their favorite eats. In Zootopia 2, brave rabbit police officer Judy Hopps and her partner, the sly fox Nick Wilde, reunite to solve the most perilous and intricate case of their careers. As they follow a twisting mystery through the bustling animal metropolis, the duo encounters new friends, unexpected challenges and plenty of adventure. The film is rated PG.
Admission is free, and all pre-movie activities are free.
Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the activities, visit with the Good Zoo’s animal ambassadors and settle in before the movie begins at dusk.
