WVDOH Projects on Marshall County Roadways Scheduled for Next Week

Marshall County, WV – A portion of County Route 5, Big Wheeling Creek Road, from milepost 5.6 to milepost 7.2, will be reduced to one lane, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, July 27, 2026, through Wednesday, July 29, 2026, for shoulder repair and ditching. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays.

ALSO IN MARSHALL COUNTY:

A portion of County Route 44, Limestone Hill Lane, will be restricted to one lane, from milepost 0.35 to milepost 0.66, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday, July 27, 2026, and Tuesday, July 28, 2026, for paving. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the schedule for these projects.
