An OPEN LETTER to … The Flooded Folks in Ohio County …

-

To Those in Need of FEMA Assistance:

Yes, believe it or not, there will be people trying to scam you for your personal information, and they will be doing that while posing like the people you have been so anxious to meet.

FEMA representatives.

So, please take heed to this warning and protect yourself and your families. Do not allow those playing politics over this situation make you too anxious for the help FEMA can provide because the federal folks will be in Ohio County for a while. So, be patient, take your own inventory of all of the damage you’ve suffered, make your list of questions, and then be sure to meet with the right people by doing YOUR due diligence.

If you need help or have any doubts whatsoever, ask someone local.

There are cruel people in the world, so whether you encounter those playing politics or those trying to hurt you more than you already have been, let those you trust help you the most. Please.

Sincerely,

Your Neighbors
