An OPEN LETTER to … The New ‘Jambo Boys’ of Wheeling …

-

Joe, Nic & Peyton:

Not only have the three of you dared to develop something brand spankin’ new, but it’s happening, TODAY, and that’s because you’ve united folks from the venues, the bands, the techs, the sponsors, and the community with a belief that a day of music could attract an incredible level of interest.

And it has, and we predict that the Jamboree City Fest will not only prove successful but that it will become a new tradition in downtown Wheeling. More bands, more venues, and more sponsors will want to get involved because it’s a perfect blend of our proud past and a future everyone has been awaiting.

Sure, build it, and they will come, but when do THEY show up exactly?

Well, today, we believe, represents an important arrival because it’s a sign that the times – they are a-changin’. Once, not too long ago, there was an unspoken system in place that silently mandated young residents to “wait their turn” with their new ideas. Over the past couple of decades, though, that “rule” has been evolving, little by little, and today?

Well, gentlemen, we believe Jamboree City Fest just might establish a new standard.

That’s because, at least for one day anyway, the past will become the present, and our hope is that it will display the potential so many have believed was possible.

Well done, and thank you for proving that a great idea can come to fruition through good, old-fashioned determination and hard work.

Sincerely,

Your Fans
