An OPEN LETTER to … The Residents of Bellaire, Ohio …

-

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Now that Robert “Moose” Dodrill has rescinded his resignation and has told some local media he’s refusing to quit on his hometown, you all have the same decision to make; it’s the kind that is called “make or break” and “do or die”.

We can state that without even knowing what’s REALLY wrong because of what we’ve witnessed since Dodrill took over in January as the Mayor of the “Great American Town”.

Most folks have seen the postings on the “Bellaire Council” Facebook page, too, about the alleged “financial status” of the village, and about pension funds, the open positions, the growing potholes, the EPA mandates concerning stormwater, the missing reports, and the resignations. Most wonder if these are new problems caused by members of the Dodrill administration, or if these critical issues have been quietly lingering and left for the new regime.

So … do you work together with the Mayor to save the village from its issues? Or do you turn away from “Moose” and his supporters this time and allow Bellaire to sink to lower levels that could involve state-based intervention?

Decisions, decisions.

Sincerely,

We’re Rooting for You
