Bellaire Public Library Opening New Local Archive

The Bellaire Public Library will be holding an open house to celebrate the dedication of its new Local History Center and Bellaire Room Archives on Friday, October 10th, from 1 to 4 pm.

The commemoration marks the completion of a project ten years in the making. The public are invited to browse exhibits of the library’s historic materials.

Tours of the new room will be given following a 1:30 pm ribbon cutting ceremony. Light refreshments and snacks will be served in the library’s Activity Room where heritage partners will be able to show the public preservation efforts happening throughout the valley.
