Drug Bust Reported by Belmont County Sheriff’s Office

Illegal drugs and alleged narcotic dealers were removed from the streets of Belmont County Wednesday.

On November 2, detectives with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Interdiction Unit executed a search warrant at the McGuire residence in Neffs, Ohio. A search of the residence yielded a large quantity of methamphetamine, U.S. currency, and two firearms.

Detectives also conducted two traffic stops as part of the investigation where three suspects were arrested and booked into the Belmont County jail.

Ricky McGuire, 32, of Neffs, was arrested and charged with Felony 1 possession of meth, and Felony 1 trafficking of meth.

Karlee Leek, 30, of Bellaire was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, Felony 5 possession of cocaine, and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Brody Masciarelli, 27, of Bellaire, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession and trafficking of drugs.
