Lane Closures on US 22, Veterans Memorial Bridge, Eastbound and Westbound, to Begin on Saturday, October 10, 2026
Brooke County, WV – A portion of US 22, eastbound and westbound, on the Veterans Memorial Bridge, from milepost 0.00 to milepost 0.38, will have both the eastbound and westbound lanes closed, from midnight to 1:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for a bridge inspection.
The closures will be at night to minimize the impact on the traveling public. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated.
Alternate Routes: Eastbound traffic use Ohio 7 northbound to US 30 eastbound to WV 2 southbound. Westbound traffic use WV 2 northbound to US 30 westbound to Ohio 7 southbound.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
