A portion of County Route 5 (Big Wheeling Creek Road), near milepost 4.0 (North of Rude Bridge) to milepost 5.05 (South of Langmyer Bridge), will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., began August 1 and will continue through Friday, August 18, 2023, for road maintenance. This area will be restricted to one lane from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Traffic will be maintained with a traffic light at the work area during the non-working hours and weekends. Motorists are advised to slow down.
Alternate Route: WV 88 to US 250 to County Route 7 (Limestone Road) to County Route 5 (McCreary’s Ridge Road).
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
