Ohio County, WV – A portion of County Route 40/2, Springdale Avenue, in Wheeling, will be closed, from 280 Springdale Avenue to the intersection of Pinewood Drive, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, through late August, to install a main gas line. Closure will be Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
Alternate Routes: Use US 40 to County Route 15/2, Sonneborne Road, to County Route 15/1, Park View Road.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
