The block party will take place in the parking lot between the two eateries, and the event will feature live music, food and drink specials, and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the day.
A wheeling native, Johnet Haget has raised her daughter to be ready for the rigorous world of academia, as well as the realities of being Black in America. The events of the past two weeks have been a grim reminder of that reality and that there is still much work to be done.
