Wheeling Heritage Issues Final Call for Vendor Applications: Handmade Holiday Deadline Approaching

Wheeling Heritage is reminding artisans, creative entrepreneurs, and local food and beverage vendors that the deadline to apply for this year’s Handmade Holiday is Friday, Sept. 6. The annual event, set for Saturday, Dec. 7, provides the community with a chance to shop for unique, handcrafted gifts just in time for the holiday season.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wheeling Artisan Center, visitors can explore a variety of handmade goods, including original artwork, prints, pottery, and more. Vendor applications for this juried market are still open, with the selection committee considering factors like craftsmanship, creativity, and presentation.

“Handmade Holiday is a cherished tradition, both for the artisans who participate and the community members who attend,” said Riley Carpenter, director of programming at Wheeling Heritage. “We’re looking forward to seeing the unique products and culinary offerings that will be featured this year.”

In addition to artisan vendors, Wheeling Heritage is encouraging local food and beverage vendors to apply. The organization hopes to showcase a variety of local culinary offerings on the first floor of the newly renovated Wheeling Artisan Center, providing an enhanced experience for visitors.
