Wheeling Island Homes Hit by Gun Fire Overnight

Wheeling Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened on Wheeling Island Saturday morning. Police were called to the 100 block of Ohio Street around 5 a.m.

No one was injured, but two homes were struck by gunfire. Police detectives collected numerous shell casings in the area and at this time believe two male suspects fired the gunshots. Their exact identities are unknown as police continue to investigate.
