Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is thrilled to announce its first ever Independence Day Fun Festival, set to take place on July 5, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The public is welcome to join in a spectacular celebration filled with a variety of activities, delicious food, and exhilarating entertainment for the entire family.
Event Highlights:
- Over 10 Food Trucks: Guests can indulge in a diverse range of culinary delights from some of the best food trucks in the region, offering everything from classic American favorites to exotic treats.
- Fun Activities for All Ages: The day will be packed with fun and games, perfect for families. From carnival-style games to interactive activities, there’s something for everyone.
- Local Vendors: Visit various local vendors and a psychic.
- Live Music: Get ready to groove to the sounds of live music sponsored by Betly Casino and Sportsbook, featuring an exciting lineup:

- 3PM – 7 South
- 5PM – Rumors
- 7PM – JukeBox
- Beer Gardens: Guests can quench their thirst with a variety of beers available at our beer gardens brought to you by Bud Light, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the festivities.
- Live Racing: The day includes the chance to experience the thrill of live racing with a 3 p.m. post time. Patrons can place their bets and cheer for their favorites as they race to the finish line.
- Fireworks Show: As the day winds down, there will be a dazzling fireworks display that will light up the night sky at dark, providing a grand finale to an unforgettable day of celebration.
Free Admission! The public can enjoy all the festivities with no entry fee, rain or shine. It’s Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack’s way of thanking the community for their support and celebrating Independence Day together.
