Suspect Arrested in Strussion Double Homicide

Andrew Isaac Griffin, age 32, was arrested in Hawaii on February 18, 2025 for the 2021 homicides of Angela and Thomas Strussion. 

The arrest stems from a years-long investigation involving the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of various other law enforcement agencies throughout the country. 

At this time, Mr. Griffin is charged with two counts of aggravated murder. Formal proceedings will occur before the Belmont County Grand Jury where the facts will be presented and an indictment sought. 

No court appearance is scheduled in Belmont County at this time. All court appearances will be scheduled upon Mr. Griffin’s return to this jurisdiction.
